This Island Studio

This Island Studio is a multidisciplinary design studio based on lovely Waiheke Island, Auckland, New Zealand, with 20 years experience across branding, packaging and digital through to retail and apparel.

My name is Amanda, and I am the designer behind This Island Studio. I am a mother, a traveler, and a lover of all things creative. I have a passion for helping brands grow to reach their potential.

I have been fortunate to have worked for several large NZ retail brands with a focus on natural products. Those years of experience gave me insight, learnings and a passion for helping brands grow within the retail sector and online. Sustainability, ethical practices and a relationship to nature has played an important role in my career to date.

The Process

When working with clients, I use research and strategy as the foundations for developing thoughtful brand stories and redefining business brand values.

We discuss your current market positioning and where you aspire to be in the future, your current target demographic and potential client base. Incorporating a solid strategy into the design process provides the framework for creating meaningful branding, packaging and marketing collateral for your business.
